Discord Bot
Ragbee in Discord: ask in DMs or mention the bot in a server channel, get grounded answers with sources.
Current setup
Discord bots are connected with help from Ragbee support today — the bot runs on Ragbee's infrastructure with a token for your Discord application. Self-serve setup (paste-your-own-token, like Telegram) is on the roadmap.
To get started:
- Create an application at the Discord Developer Portal, add a Bot, and copy the bot token
- Email support@ragbee.ai with the token (or a link to your application) and which workspace it should answer from
- We connect it and confirm; invite the bot to your server with the standard Discord OAuth invite (we'll send the ready-made link)
Using Ragbee in Discord
- DMs: chat directly, replies come straight back
- Servers: mention the bot (@Ragbee) and it answers; keeps channel noise down
- Replies are short and channel-friendly, with source citations
- Conversation context is kept per channel/thread
Notes
- The bot token is stored server-side and encrypted
- Channel policy applies: document/knowledge questions get grounded answers; personal account questions are routed to your official channels
- To remove: remove the bot from your server and email support so we can deactivate the integration
Roadmap
Self-serve Discord integration (token field + auto-invite link, like Telegram) is planned. Watch the changelog or ask support for status.
