Getting Started
From zero to grounded answers in a few minutes.
1. Create your account
Sign up at ragbee.ai. Your account becomes a tenant — your organization's space, isolated from everyone else's.
2. Create a workspace
A workspace is a collection of documents that chatbots and chat answer from — e.g. "Employee Handbook", "Product Docs", "Support KB". Create one under Dashboard → Workspaces. You can have several, and each chatbot integration can be pointed at the workspace (or endpoint default) it should answer from.
3. Add documents
Dashboard → Documents — upload files or ingest URLs:
- Upload: drag and drop files (PDF, Word/text documents, spreadsheets, etc.)
- URL ingest: paste a page URL and Ragbee pulls in its content
- Connectors: Dashboard → Connectors links Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, and Atlassian (Confluence) accounts to import from
Every document is chunked and indexed per workspace. The document list shows chunk counts, and you can inspect exactly what was extracted from each document.
4. Ask your first question
Dashboard → Document Q&A — ask anything your documents can answer. Replies are grounded: you get the answer plus the source passage, so you can verify in one click. If the answer isn't in your documents, Ragbee says so instead of guessing.
For ongoing conversations with saved history, use Ask Ragbee (Dashboard → Ask Ragbee) — a threaded assistant that keeps context across the conversation.
5. Publish answers where your people are
Once chat looks good, take answers to your channels:
- Website widget — one line of script on your site
- Telegram, Messenger, Zoom, Discord
- API — build your own front ends
Tips
- Garbage in, gospel out: the cleaner the documents, the better the answers. FAQs and handbooks work beautifully.
- Test chat first — every chatbot page has a test link; use it before pointing customers at a bot.
- Plan limits apply to monthly questions; see pricing and your plan under Dashboard → Billing.
